Following Vincent Mauger creation, we realize the technical design and we produce 26 boxes in aluminum composite pannels. Those boxes are parallelepiped: 120cm long, 80cm wide, 60cm high./

Vincent Mauger explains:

/

Those blocs are built from an assembly of aluminum composite leaves. All of them have different structure and graphics, giving a formal coherence to the whole.

The boxes insides are scooped out. Those types of structure offer a changing aspect seconding the points of view. Sometimes some bricks look full, sometimes the same ones let the eyes go through them, and like this they get closer to a slight sketch in space. The material also produces reflecting surfaces, enabling the volumes to be fully integrated into their environment.

The volume is scooped out from the center in order to stress the visual lightness. The way to build those bricks also evokes the idea of a plan, of graph paper, of folding, of an evolving and flexible object. Thus each brick has the form of a very graphic object, reminding the hatched drawing codes.

Seconding the point of view and the metal leaves orientation, they will reflect differently the light and thus, they will create a complex and changing construction. The transparency also gives an aspect close to a virtual object, a sketch spreading into space. .
